One of the most prominent of discoveries of Hith Harivansh Chandra Mahaprabhu is Madan teer, who according to his followers came to Vrindavan in 1506 with Shri Radhavallabh Lalji.

Features of Madan Teer :-

One of the first places, where 'Sri Hit Harivansh Mahaprabhu' reached on his arrival at Vrindavan with Sri Radhavallabh, is hardly two kilometres away from the main Radhavallabh Temple.

In lush green environment on the bank of Holy Yamuna in the Parikrama Marg (circumrotating path), the place has foot prints of Sri Mahaprabhu, where the Lord came and rested under the canopy of trees and creepers. At the time there was no temple of stone and brick, but after Harivansh’s disappearance in 1545, and when the first temple was constructed in 1585, his son Vanchandra continued the tradition, as have their successors.

History of Madan Teer :-

Love and devotion have the power to purify darkness to light and Madan Teer is the living example.

The priest tells the story which describes the holiness of this place when Hith Harivansh Mahaprabhu first came to Vrindavan, it was being terrorized by the robber chieftain Naravahan. But when this dacoit came in touch with Harivansh Mahaprabhu, he was mesmerised by mahaprabhu's divine aura and became his follower. He gave up his antisocial activities and violent behaviour and Braj once again became a peaceful place to live and do bhajan.
