'Hith Harivansh Mahaprabhu’ lived his childhood in Deoband a place of peace and divinity. Once playing with his playmates; the ball fell in a deep well. Mahaprabhu jumped into the well and came out with a 'Shri Vigraha'(Lord's idol).
The well still exists and 'Sriji' placed in the ancestral palace, at Deoband is widely known as "Sri Radha Navarangilala".Here at Deoband, once while asleep, Sri Radha gave Her Holy 'darshan' (vision) to Hith Harivansh Mahaprabhu in his dream and blessed Him with 'Mantra'(Holy couplet) under a 'peepal' tree. This tree still exists at Deoband in the precincts of temple.

It is said that Shri Hith harivansh Mahaprabhu had married Rukmani devi and had three sons Shri Vanchandraji, Shri Krishandasji and Shri Gopinathji. Although He was married but yet lived a life of a saint uninterested in worldly chores. He was totally observed in serving Radha Navrangilalji and later on left in search of Lord he had dreamed. The search ended in Chirthawal from where He came to Vrindavan along with Sri Radhavallabh lal’s Sri Vigrah.
