The bond of devotees and divine is majestic nobody can just define it in words. The day of Sharad Poornima marks the auspicious significance of this bond through the Maharaas Lila. This full moon day Lord Radhakrishna along with selfless love filled devotees the Sakhis and Gopis, perform the magical divine play to which the whole trinity bows and views it with thrill. The vigour of this splendorous occasion shines in the breeze and every part of nature on this earth. This is an occasion when one sees the devoted souls blending with divine in the pouring rain of devotion.
Maharaas Lila signifies the beauty of a love filled dance far above from the malice of materialistic worldly pleasures and voracity. The heavenly feel of this dance shows the divine enthusiasm filled in the hearts of Sakhis and Gopis while performing this dance. The music of Sri Krishna’s flute uplifts them of all their worldly bonds and emotions, thereby helping them to seek the true goal of human soul. The true goal of a human soul is to attain peace and salvation which is only possible by the means of pure love filled devotion for the divine.
Maharaas inspires us to rise above the worldly notions and connect our souls with the divine Himself.
