Holi Special Recipe – ‘Thandai’

Ingredients:
Almonds- 20 gm.
Blanched Melon Seeds- 10 gm.
Soaked Poppy Seeds – 10 gm.
Milk – 500 ml.
Peppercorns – 3 no.
Fennel Seeds – ½ tsp.
Green Cardamom – 2no.
Sugar – 150 gm.
Rose Petals – 10 to 15 petals.

Method:
• Heat the milk, add sugar.
• Stir till it dissolves and remove from flame.
• Blend the almonds, melon seeds, poppy seeds and rose petals to a paste.
• Grind the fennel seeds, pepper corns and cardamom into powder.
• Add the powder and paste to the milk.
• Serve the Thandai chilled.

The Holi Special Recipe – Thandai serves 2 to 3 persons.
