Lord Vishnu and Shiva as ‘Ardhnarishwar’

Lord Vishnu and Shiva as ‘Ardhnarishwar’ these two divines can be seen together in one idol, known as Lord Harihar – Badrana, Udaipur(Rajasthan). This temple is situated 55km away from Udaipur. The idol is four and a half feet tall symbolised in black stone. The left side of the idol depicts Lord Vishnu and the right side Lord Shiva, it becomes more visible by the help of the sacred objects like the shank, chakra, trishul, chandrama e.t.c. that can be seen on the idol.
