Tulsi (Basil) leaves are well known for their sacred and medicinal values. In Shri radhavallabh temple Tulsi (basil) is considered as a sakhi, thus it is never put in the bhog.If any devotee offers basil to lord it is placed in Shriji’s ‘charan kamal’ the holy feet and then given back as parsaad.
It is also believed that if one wishes to have it as parsaad, one will have to swallow it as whole. As chewing the basil is considered a sin.

Shrimati Radha Rani is literally Devi Swaroop. She is the most powerful devi, but yet assumes humblest positions to serve her creator and lord Shri Krishna. She is the greatest etrnal servitor of Lord Krishna. Most beautiful, slender, quickwitted and well versed in all arts, she is the most beloved of the Lord but cannot be seen by anyone as Tamala in Vrindavan wants to shield her from one and all at her own request and hence can be seen only with his celestial flute, cow, peacock and Jamuna.Yet she is the most beloved of his and theiier eternal trancendental pastimes continue forever and ever.Jai Shrimati Radha Rani.
