This 7 cm width width by 7 cm length by 1cm height and base round is 4.5cm diameter silver plated "Tilaka dibbi" seashell shaped base with a seperater and sliding cover is used for putting roli or vermilon powder or red sindoor with rice for putting or applying tilaka to deities while performing daily pooja or maha pooja or on festive occassions. This is made of metal alloy with pure silver plating which does not turn black easily.
